Steps to a new smile in just one day
We begin with an initial consultation. In this consultation, we get to know you, your goals and your health.
The initial consultation is designed for you and Dr. Reza Khazaie to determine what your needs are and which procedures and requisite preparatory work may be necessary to achieve those target results. Some patients may require extensive preparatory work while others can begin the surgical process almost immediately.
Our expert and highly experienced dental staff at Willow Pass Dental Care will carefully evaluate each individual, including oral history and stated goals and desires in order to make the best recommendations. Once that is determined you along with Dr. Khazaie and other dental specialists on the team will determine timelines, procedures, and budget to give you peace of mind. After a treatment path is determined, many patients can proceed to the next steps: preliminary preparation work and surgery.
During the preliminary preparation phase, impressions and CAT scans are taken in order to digitally plot out the exact location, angle, and rotation of each replacement tooth. If applicable, rotted and unsalvageable teeth are cleanly extracted. For those who choose the All-On-4® dental implants, four strategically located implants will be embedded, two in the back of the jaw and two in the mid-jaw perpendicular to the gums. These implants are arthroscopically embedded utilizing minimally invasive computer-guided technologies. The anchor implants, four for each arch, will function as supports for a permanent bridge prosthesis which can often be attached immediately after the implant surgery is complete.
